:leon: soldout faster than i thought. look at places in montgomery. it's closer than atl and if you get up early enough you can beat some traffic

Just booked a Holiday inn express room in Auburn(Looks like outside Auburn to me, but whatever). They don't take my money until I check in or cancel 48 hours before. I will look at rooms in Montgomery and the surrounding areas later. B/c these room prices are fukking insane.

Want to do the Iron Bowl this year. B/c next year will be Bama@LSU and tOSU at Michigan.

Going to try to see at least 2 CFB games live each year.

@Lucky_Lefty showed me the light, when it comes to seeing CFB games live.

Yea IMO cfb games live are the best sports experience out there. wish i had the ability to see a bunch of different games.

Breh, I had no idea how great the CFB experience was until I went to a power 5 conference game. I have been to a bunch of NFL games, and they where cool. But when I went to Eugene I was legit in awe at how awesome it was. Thought it was just b/c I ride with the Ducks. But then I went to the Washington UCLA game, sick as hell with the flue, and was blown away. And that was Pac 12 teams. I need to see SEC and Big 10/12 live now. :banderas:

After both those CFB games, I went to see the Seahawks Giants game. And as live as Seahawks fans get, I was like. :shaq2:

Montgomery be busy too that weekend, especially with both teams staying there the night before. Bama stays at the Embassy suites and Auburn stays at the renaissance hotel. Both are downtown. @Brady-Carter try to book one on the Eastside of MGM, like on chantilly pkwy, that is if do decide to stay in MGM

Breh, next month(April) if you can give me a break down on the best places to stay/do in the area that would be cool. I will be driving, so a hour or so away from Auburn is cool. I am just sketchy about the south. Only time I have been through the south is when I was young/older on my way to Florida.

Looking like Auburn and Florida State are working on a neutral site game as well. We'll see. Should be a good one.

For the price you posted you could stay at the 2 hotels @RammerJammer posted for less. I know the Renaissance is $150 a night and the Embassy is like $200 a night. If i remember correctly the Doubletree is like $130 a night. But like he said...check out by Chantilly pkwy ...they have a Staybridge for like $180 and any time i gotta do a long stay it's there.

Depends on where you are driving from. I'll admit taking backroads from the Wetumpka, AL area up toward Talladega at night ain't some shyt i like doing...and i'm from SC but those Bama backroads make me feel uneasy lol.

TYRONE GA!
Want to go to the iron bowl this year. How shady is Auburn? Is it best to stay in Atlanta and drive from Atlanta and back?

You can do that.

Or stay in Newnan, GA (about 20 minutes south of the Atlanta Airport. It has civilization around it). That's about an hour and 15 minutes away.

Lagrange, GA is about 40 minutes away.
