SEC title lock in 2016!!!

:usure: Last time I checked more & more SEC teams are going to Up-tempo spread offenses. Mizzou just hired an Air Raid OC, Will Muschamp just brought a spread OC with him to USCe. What Shoop did in the B1G is irrelevant.

You see any similarities between Dobbs and Deshaun Watson? :jbhmm:I've been hearing this a lot.Break it down for me.

Dobbs is a lil taller, a lil faster and a more powerful runner when it comes to breaking tackles. Watson has better accuracy on the deep ball. And a lil better touch on short to medium passes.

Other than that they're nearly clones. Though I will say Watson seems a little more brittle. If he runs 20 times, I doubt he makes it through the game.

You right. He is a step above Dobbs in pretty much everything. Not saying Dobbs is bad by any means. But Deshaun is elite. :lupe:

No. Deshaun just plays in a system that emphasizes the pass more. Tennessee has a more run based scheme. Dobbs can do anything Watson can. He just isn't asked to.

Tennessee only fell behind by a lot in one game this season (vs. Georgia). It's the only time Butch Jones put the game in Dobbs hands. And he produced 312 pass yards and 118 rush yards. He could do that regularly if we let him.

However, Butch Jones is too conservative. He only let Dobbs loose when he has no choice.

True. But he's also more physically gifted. He's taller, more athletic, and has a stronger arm.

Watson doesn't have this speed.

Watson doesn't have this arm strength.

From his 20 to the other 25 on a rope. :wow: not many NFL QBs can make that throw let alone college.

Dobbs make all sec ?

If you watch Tennessee play you'll know how conservative Butch Jones is.

He doesn't even let his rocket scientist QB call audibles at the line because he doesn't like risk.

Hopefully he changes next year. But I expect we won't see what Dobbs is truly capable of till he's in the NFL.
