FSU really is a QB away and a more mature OL of making noise 2015 was known to be a rebuilding year. Most heads want to see Francois get the job but I think Jimbo gonna play it safe and go with Maguire. FSU DL and secondary should be godly
you just described an offense

FSU really is an offense away

More worried about the OL than QB honestly they just make too many stupid penalties. Hoping for that 2011 to 2012 jump we had with our OL all them 2011 freshman nikkas that played are all starting in the NFL now. Really hoping we can get that big play vertical threat that can just outathlete em that's what killed us this season along with Golson throwing late we couldn't connect down the field the way we used to. I'm a take a deeper look at some Maguire film to see if I believe he can be NC material QB for us. Cook and Patrick gonna be the suppliers anyway that make us go.

FSU will be fine...just keep jimbo happy and pay him and his staff and they will continue to keep a good program. Dabo and Jimbo are doing a great job at the same time...not that either on the level as these two; but it reminds me of Urban and Saban.

FSU and CLemson should do everything to keep them around and not get greedy.

We got them, they just needed the experience of failure and success. I think that was accomplished this season.

from Bill Connelly's bowl article:

"Jimbo Fisher might have pulled off one of his most impressive coaching jobs in 2015.

Despite basically losing their entire passing game and four three- or four-year starters on the offensive line, the Seminoles rank 19th in Off. S&P+. Dalvin Cook, who rushed for 1,650 yards and showed elite explosiveness despite playing with a bum hamstring, had a ton to do with this.

And despite a rebuild on the defensive line, the Seminoles are a stout ninth in Def. S&P+.

FSU lost only two games in a rebuilding year: a fluky, blocked-FG-returned-for-TD loss at Georgia Tech and an excusable 10-point loss at No. 1 Clemson. The dud at Tech may not have been impressive, but FSU still beat Miami, manhandled NC State and Louisville and crushed Florida. If this is what a down year looks like in Tallahassee, that's a terrifying thought."

Yeah if a potential 11-2 season is a down year we in damn good shape. Brought in a QB who only had a legit month of prep to learn new offense with a new OL and coming with a squad that just lost 11 players to NFL draft ill take it. Trust my man for a minute I didn't know where the hell FSU football was heading back in 06 and 07 I thought we were looking at a 3-9 type drop if Bowden continued to just linger around stumbling like Old Pa at PSU in the early 00s. I browse some FSU forums I see people talking about fukk Jimbo fukk so and so shyt crazy I'm happy with the direction of our program and the development of the players Jimbo has brought in. Seeing cats like Newberry,Elliott and Brutus and Kermit Whitfield come in and ball after being written off really showed me Jimbo really bout that family shyt he could've easily ran them off like Saban and some of them other coaches do but he built them up and they really were able to finish they football careers in style.

Hope them WR's put in the work this offseason Ready to see Campbell,Tate,Harrison,Phillips and Murray make that jump. FSU actually lost the 2 games most fans thought they would lose going into the season shyt happens even with the loss to Clemson FSU would've missed playoff anyway so I don't know why the fans all burnt over the GT loss still it was some fluke shyt it happens.

I'm not really worried about the WR, we got some very serviceable WRs in Kermit, Bobo and Rudolph. We need Tate to become that stud and it seemed liked he showed some flashes of that when he wasn't hurt but couldn't put it together consistently. I really think this QB competition starting in the spring will help the WR's take that next step. Kermit stepped it up, but I think Murray will take some time away from Bobo or Rudolph, gonna be hard to keep him off the field. Heard that Campbell has trouble with physical DB's(don't how true that is so don't take it as the truth). I think we're gonna be fine in this area.
