Okay can someone explain to me HOW the Tarheels wouldn't make the playoffs if they beat Clemson?
NO other team outside of the top 4 would have a better resume.
1. OU lost to Texas and won't even be a conference champ1. lost to south carolina
2. beat 2 fcs schools
3. currently #10 and would not jump a 1 loss OSU or conference champs stanford
if UNC was 6th or 7th you would have a strong case
Look at my post on this topic. There resume doesn't measure up to the othersOkay can someone explain to me HOW the Tarheels wouldn't make the playoffs if they beat Clemson?

And UNC lost to USC1. OU lost to Texas and won't even be a conference champ
2. Their current ranking means nothing. Beating the #1 team would and should easily move any top 10 team to top 4.
That's NOW, not after they'd beat Clemson.Look at my post on this topic. There resume doesn't measure up to the others

Last year OSU lost to a shytty team at the beginning of the season (just like UNC), beat ONE ranked team all year (just like UNC) and then beat up a shytty Wisconsin team to get in.
Again, how would beating Clemson not be a big enough statement?
The committee putting any other team ahead of them would make this just another BCS-type fiasco, wavering from year-to-year.
This is obvious. Changes nothing about the merits of their season and their potential win though.OSU has brand name and $$$ behind them. UNC in football has niether.

Last year OSU was more impressive than TCU and Baylor. Last year circumstances have nothing to do with this year. That's NOW, not after they'd beat Clemson.

I've never put anyone on ignore, but you're gonna be my first. There's something wrong with you.Last year OSU was more impressive than TCU and Baylor. Last year circumstances have nothing to do with this year.
This year UNC with a win over Clemson won't have a better resume than Stanford, OU, or Clemson
