From what people are saying about Eason he's a program changer like RG3 and Johnny Football

They say that about all top QB recruits.

You can not predict this type of stuff

It doesn't sound like he wants to coach again and to let him coach the bowl game plus give him a press conference and basically be given an open invitation to do what he wants says a lot...I don't think CMR turns how back on that

I guess...I just don't think CMR just rides off into the sunset, he's UGA all the way and the program wants to keep him in the fold. I don't think he wants to leave and if given the right position would/will stay

Keeping a coach for a single recruit or even recruiting class is the stupidest thing ever. Remember even if this kid is the best QB ever, he'll only be around a maximum of 4 years.

I'd rather find a great coach for 15 years than a great player for 4.

That's why I think McGarity may have fukked up bad

Atleast let us get one our best recruiting classes on board first and see what happens next season and then if we shyt the bed do what you have to do

Doesn't Georgia always have great recruiting classes? Wouldn't we hear the same thing next year if they go 9-3 again? I can see the excuses already. "Eason's just a freshmen. Wait till he has more than one year in the system before you fire Richt." "Hey we have a great recruiting class coming in, lets wait till they get in campus before we fire Richt."

You know I'm right. You Georgia fans accept mediocrity. Richt wasn't fired because of this year. He was fired because he failed to reach a national title game in 15 years while all his rivals did. The guy has more talent than almost everyone yet underachieves.

The fact it took this long is sad.

RG3 and Manziel were 3 star recruits that barely any big schools wanted. This Eason kid is no different than the 5 star QBs we hear about each cycle. Most end up as flops.

I'd hate to put all my faith in a kid who hasn't played a snap of college football.

Gamecock money is looooong. ... don't let the Herman posturing fool you. Probably throwing the bank at him right now. He has/ is taken that under consideration. If he wants a cash grab, he'll take it (unfortunately) ....but any up and comer taking the SC job can't be in it for the cash because successive bad seasons could stall momentum. And following what HBC did is something else. he'd have to come in and manage expectations from the jump.
