Such a non shocker. NCAA just needed something to work with. Everybody and they mama knew that recruiting class wasn't legit. I mean come on, Ole fukking Miss pulled in the number one OL, DE (who was number one in the nation), and WR all in one class.

Nah bru...he was all Clemson until his mom came thru saying she wanted him to play with his brother or an SEC team. Magically he flipped to them after an constant onslaught from the Atlanta Journal and Constitution and his mother b.s. reason she gave from Nigeria. She never spoke to Dabo or staff and dissed them...but the father did and was cool with his choice. We know what happened...but he made the right choice bc Dabo would have booted him for smoking weed like he did last year.

There were a few schools that thought that they had a shot at Robert. You could make the arguments here and there for each one, I'm sure. Ultimately, the calculated move to bring his brother in first paid off for OIe Miss. Do I think that his brother being there is the sole reason that he chose Ole Miss? No. Do I think it's possible that there have been some money exchanges? I do think it's possible. Denzel already being a Rebel provided for a good enough reason/cover? Yes.
Now as for the rest of the big names that Ole Miss snagged on NSD13 (Tunsil, Treadwell, Conner), I do believe that there was more involved to their recruiting than "Ole Miss would be great for you, son."

Actually Bama would have. His mother mentioned that Bama was her favorite school and if she couldn't get him to play with her brother then that was her preference.
There was articles for months and months from that newspaper trying to fan a fire and it was all based on the fact that Clemson regularly takes players from the state of Georgia that they feel should have went to an instate school. They still do it all the time toward Clemson...like with Deshaun...they kept a negative narrative towards my squad but he kept his word.
From what I understand what Ole Miss was doing was paying for top tier players to jump start their program so they wouldn't have to keep paying. So having those big names from 2013 would lead to higher caliber players wanting to join for years to come. IMO that just hasn't really been the case...they haven't reloaded too much and this incident my mess it up for them.
