Looking over the nominees...

I'd say Hunger Games takes it due to the MTV crowd. At least it isn't Twilight (and I somewhat like Hunger Games). MTV smartened up last year and didn't nominate it for anything and The Avengers took it all. Props to them for getting Conan to host this year. Always felt his two years hosting the Emmys were memorable. I'm surprised they never got him to host the Oscars.

It looks like MTV is taking this awards show more seriously. All the films that are nominated for "Movie of the Year" got Oscar/Golden Globes or Saturn Awards love.

I was just browsing channels and watched about 10 minutes of this shyt show and as expected MTV is using the platform to further promote their gay agenda. the very first commercial I saw as soon as they cut to break was hyping up some new lesbian TV series called "Faking It".
