Floyd is the fighter of the year.

He went pretty much 23-1 over 24 rounds with 2 top undefeated fighters....One who was a top 5 WW and multiple time Champion in the lower weight classes, while the other was the #1 Junior Middlewight and Champion who outweighed him by about 20 pounds.

He destroyed both of em easily and made them look like amateurs.

Made a consensus top 5 p4p fighter look like a low-grade sparring partner.

And completely shut out another world class boxer in Agbeko, who had never been so thoroughly shut down in that fashion in any of his other previous fights.

Beat a top 5 p4p'er. Got caught early and hard against Prov, but fought back AND beat the shyt out of Prov who is now a boogieman at 140-147.

How can Danny be fighter of the year for beating a faded Judah and Matthysse (who you claim sucks)?


Stevenson got rid of his boogeyman and then went on to finish 3 top 10 LHW's. Stopping 2 who had never been stopped before. Also, he did not lose a single round the whole year.
