Georgia wide receiver Marlon Brown, a senior, will miss the remainder of the season with a left knee injury suffered in Saturdays victory over Ole Miss, coach Mark Richt said late this afternoon.
Marlon, unfortunately, has an ACL injury that will need surgery, Richt said. So his career at Georgia will be over, or is over.
But were going to be expecting full recovery. That is just an injury people recover from well. And we know hell continue on (to) his pro career, because I think he was well on his way to having that happen for him.
Were very sad and sorry it happened for Marlon and for Georgia, too.* Hell recover; hell do fine; its just a hard thing to swallow right now.
Brown was Georgias leading receiver against Ole Miss with three catches for 113 yards, including a 66-yard touchdown in the second quarter.
He is the second front-line receiver Georgia has lost to a season-ending knee injury this year. Michael Bennett was the other.
More to come.
It's up to Young Woo, Malcolm & Tavarres to bring it home now
