I think it is ridiculous that in 2012, the availability of streams, twitter, facebook, etc. that NBC still thinks it's a great idea to show the opening ceremonies on tape delay.

Depends on whether or not you want to disconnect completely from the internet from 4 to midnight.

Just read NBC is going to tape delay for the West Coast as well, people in the Pacific time zone have to wait until 7.30 PT, 3 hours behind folks on the East Coast.
