Realistically they could still play doubles for the next 4 years. For Serena to make Rio shes gunna have to take time off like she has done in the past to keep herself healthly and motivated

yeah, Venus is finished as a singles player so its only doubles for her. Both could play at a high level at doubles for another 4-6 years, imo.


Serena, tbh I thought she was done after the embolism so I dont want to limit her.

After Serena retires in singles (she wont play when she sucks, she dont love the game that much), there isnt anyone in US tennis. That is when the American media will appreciate just how great the Williams sisters were because there wasnt anyone else when they were in their primes as well.
