LONDON — Britain’s Dwain Chambers waited 12 years to get back to the Olympics. It could end up being a triumphant return.

Chambers, whose lifetime ban as a doping offender was overturned in May, won his 100-meter heat in 10.02 seconds Saturday. He advanced to Sunday’s semifinals, along with favorites Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell, Tyson Gay and Justin Gatlin.

First day was to qualify for All around gymnast, which is a combination of vault, floor, bars, and beam.

Second day, they had the team final. Same thing as all around, except for its the whole team, or all five girls.

Third day, Gabby and Aly Raismen competed for All around Gymnast....as we know Gabby won.

Now thru the next couple of days they are gonna break the events down: Everyone will compete for vault, everyone will compete for balance beam, everyone will compete for floor, everyone will compete for bars. Each event getting separate gold medals.

UK: 541 athletes, 14 golds, 29 total medals (at home)
and the gap will only get bigger in the 2nd week

We're competing in every sport because we're hosts

We have never entered teams, or at least not in a long time, in to sports such as handball, volleyball, water polo, basketball, soccer etc, so subtract both the male and female players of all those teams and GB has a lot less athletes. We sent 311 to Beijing in comparison to 541 in London, fyi.
