We are saying he is the most popular NBA player, not the most popular persom in the world....

You are wasting your time with them.

Some of them was saying track runners are more poplar than basketball players around the world.

Using they logic, that mean Michael Johnson was more poplar than Michael Jordan in 1996 all around the world. :heh:

i don't think the UK dudes were saying that to diss Kobe though. Basketball really isn't that popular in the UK specifically. In fact, after the Great Britain exhibition game, some people and reporters on twitter were saying how kobe was walking down the street with tons of security but people didn't really know who he was. It's just there though, every where else everyone knows kobe. Just basketball is just now kinda catching on in the UK.

Here read this article written on a UK website. Then read the comments. Half of them are saying they don't know who he is lol.

how is it out there breh?

I've been in Reading working right now but i managed to get out to London (30 mins by train) a few times at night.

Couple of things:

  • Rather cool and almost cold out here even though it's July. I fukked around and didnt bring a jacket thinking it's summer. WRONG MOVE!
  • THe honeys are lovely but im not sure i like the english accent in women. almost sounds manly.
  • The little african clubs out here are wild as fukk. THe night of the opening ceremonies i went to one in London and i cant front that sh!t was awesome.
  • The food isnt too impressive
  • THe driving on the left side of the street thing is still freaking me out after 2 weeks
  • Oh yeah.. sh!t is rather expensive out here

It's been raining a lot the past 3 weeks (except for last week) so i understand the need to put it out.
The rain out here in Reading started again on monday. Probably hit London too.
