Bafflingly stupid. Texas might have the best o line in football and they still knew that spreading them out laterally and tiring them out was the best option.

OSU looked great that final drive before the half, moved the ball with ease in the passing game, and scored. Only to come out in the second half and not get a first down
Every time the ball was within reach of J. Smith, it was either a penalty or a catch...so why the fukk wouldn't you continue to exploit that? I think that early interception got them a little gun shy with the pass?

OSU defense did their job, got stops, forced TOs...but they were getting tired at the end (hence that big 3rd down run) b/c the osu offense just could NOT stay on the field.
