20/20 Vision With my Buffs On
There are so many ways OSU can win this game but to make it interesting here are some ways michigan can win imo.
Ojabo & Hutch are way better than Rashan Gary ever was at michigan. Saying that because they have to figure out a way to get to stroud. I went back and watched some all 22 of OSU, they have WR's running with their hands up, on the flip side if Im Coach Day, Im telling stroud to step up in the pocket and run when pressured. So many QB's over the year ran over michigan but didn't stay consisent. Michigan will start the game only rushing 4.
On offense michigan has to win first down, like 70% of time Gattis will call a play on first down thats a zone read off tackle for two yards, second down the same play. I understand you want to keep OSU offense on the sideline but stay in favorable down & distance please. Also of course don't settle for FG's.
Michigan needs to play on cruise control. We are not a quick strike offense, we need to control the clock and take our chances. can't win a shootout.
I just hope this is not a "Dewayne Haskins" game were OSU is just killing us with crossing routes and misdirection.
Mike Mcdonald is a NFL defensive coach, he better bring all kinds blitz disguises and things of that nature: The X factor for us has to be the entire defensive side, have to limit OSU possessions & points. Very possible because under Don brown we never adjusted, this guy can. with that said:
OSU 24
Michigan 27
the key, get him uncomfortable, and moving around, if they try to double our edge rushers like they did in 19 the DT’s gotta win one on one, the defense can only be as exotic as the playmakers, hopefully he has a fire game plan, and counter waiting too
If we can win the early downs and not be looking at 2 & 8 and 3rd and 7-6 we will be in better position
