I wouldn't call it sci-fi exactly.. It's a drama/mystery more than anything imo.
Its ok. Not exactly Sci-Fi in the sense of stranger things, more like a mixture of certain things. The ending left with a lot of questions like, was she making shyt up, was it real, is she gone to find the others, what exactly happened to the others, if she was making it up then where was she for 7 years and HOW can she see again, etc. the entire thing reminded me of Life of Pi mixed in with a prison movie, mixed with Stranger Things

not really. more of a mystery.. not even close to the same story but I got some "the leftovers" vibes from the show.
