How is it not true? Average American woman is size 14, yes whites and Hispanics too. Average woman is in a relationship, so how do you figure? Suburbia is full of young white and Hispanic overweight women boo'd up. I take it you're in NYC, so maybe you're not seeing it, but it's very normal. Not super morbidly obese, but plus size, and overweight people coupled up is not a strange sight.
