People kid themselves when it comes to that guy. The fact that he still has a job is a huge reward, be glad. His character is a fukkin goof..


I'd say given his output, his WWE career has been phenomenal. He's a legend the same way guys like The Godfather and Scotty 2 Hotty are.


Infinitely more talented guys have came and went, and never accomplished a fraction of what he has.. from Elijah Burke to fukkin Ken Anderson.

No more Ryder tears, he's done just about all his goody character warrants.

That's perception though. The fans chose the guy. Yeah..Zack Ryder is no main event player but neither was John Cena. He was just pushed as one. Punk was WWE Champion but Johnny Ace was main eventing in Chicago over him. You can angle it anyway u want but they chose who counted in those 2010s.

he was getting huge reactions. In my opinion though, his character didn't have that great of a shelf life.

Aiden English is in a similar position to me.. If he sticks with Rusev as some type of manager or partner, he'll be fine.. Fans are behind him 100%.. but his ceiling with that gimmick is US title at MOST.. Nobody would buy the guy as a serious competitor. We're only behind him because his shtick is the perfect balance of hilarious and completely absurd. Nobody is buying tickets to come see Aiden though, same with Ryder.

Feel the same about Damien Sandow when everybody was on his shyt.

Guy was wearin' pink trunks and doing cartwheels and cutting Lanny Poffo Lite promos... I don't know why anybody thought he was headed to the title picture with that gimmick.
