It's somewhat of a dated concept since women didn't work back then and tended to their family instead so wealth wasn't being brought from the woman's side. So now the concept of the man bringing in the wealth, and the woman also bringing in the wealth, but the man being expected to spend it on his family and her not having to doesn't make any sense in the modern world in my opinion.

Two issues here. Black men have shyt relationships with ALL women because you guys like to play the po' broke nikka routine.
