Also imo the spot foul-pass interference along with the defensive holding is killing the league too. pass interference should only be 15 yards like in college.

I don't have a problem with defensive holding penalty as much as I do with the fact that it equals an automatic first down. I think a 5 yard penalty and repeat the down would be enough.

blame Peyton manning and bill polian, NFL never enforced that rule til the Patriots raped them in the playoffs and then polian started crying and used his power to make sure the rule was enforced.

Yep. After the 2003 AFC championship game, they brought in the 5 yard illegal contact rule. Or they started to enforce it more. either way, offenses have been eatin ever since.
