I'm still trying to figure out how is Deion involved. Like I never saw any quote where he said he won't let his son play here or there. It's crazy though. Arch Manning was fully involved with Eli telling San Diego don't draft him because he wont play for them. Cacs said nothing wrong with him looking out for his son.

This. I fully believe this part of the story behind Shedeur’s drop in the draft is not being fully focused on. Shedeur is not a top flight prospect, so that plus the story about Deion not wanting him to go to certain franchises (cough Browns), was probably the turning point for Shedeur. I don’t know if his interviews were what turned teams off from him completely, but maybe the interviews were the final straw. The scouts were probably looking at Shedeur like

The league is filled with young QBs that were drafted high that don't have a starting position right now. From my understand they also had a lot better college careers than Sanders.
Betting companies had a wide range of where he was gonna go. Some had first round, some later rounds.
That was reasonable since only 2 teams were assumed to take a QB besides Ward, Giants and Steelers.
People do forget that he's competing with a bunch of 1st rounders who are already in the league (and Aaron Rodgers).
