80% of the Cardinals voting on the next Pope were chosen by Pope Francis personally and were made certain to be Progressive.
The chances are very high the next Pope will share Pope Francis’s ideals.
I’m thinking it’ll be either Tagle or Zuppi as they’re both the most left-leaning.
The Catholic Church sees what it is today and knows it’s demographics the most. I can 100% see the Pope being non-European. Most of these people complaining about the Pope’s race aren’t even Catholic. Catholicism is too diverse of a religion today to be controlled by one group. The mass majority of Catholics today would accept a Pope of any ethnicity believe it or not.
