Beacon used to be bad, but now it's one of the biggest upcoming cities in the Hudson Valley.

It's been revamped and honestly, a bit too many hipsters. But a lot of people from the city or who work in the city have moved to Beacon. To me it reminds me of New Paltz a bit (my hometown) in a way that it's very small townish with plenty of local shops and not so many chains (much moreso than NP actually). The bars are a bit too hipsterish for me though
I almost went to college at New Paltz.

It's kind of dead upstate but so beautiful in the summer and fall.

Anyway...I'm getting off track.

If your willing to kill people for money you deserve to be in jail...sadly they would never have carried out a plan like that without being entrapped so they weren't true threats
They were under the impression they were going to blow up property. They specifically said they didn't want to kill people.

I love it up here, one of the most beautiful places in the Fall is the Hudson Valley.

New Paltz especially, Newburgh on the other, ain't much pretty that way

These fools let $$ dictate themselves becoming pawns

On one hand I feel sorry for them,...but then I think "would I ever get caught up in some BS like this?"

I felt bad for the dude who had the sick brother with medical bills.

A lot of people would strap up and agree to blow up a center for $250k to save their brother's life.

Hold up though, it was definitely 100% entrapment, but it wasn't "one day sitting on the corner the next day you're a terrorist"

This is lazy thinking on your part.

The reality is the government used poor, mentally ill and underprivelidged people, in dire circumstances to stage a false threat. They manipulated desperate people to create a story to add to their narrative. But the people did go along with it, the saddest part was the leader of the 4 misleading his fellow neighbors in this,

FBI used him, he used the underlings and all in all it was disgusting 100% and shows why you should never trust this government, ever.

All of them should have faced some sort of charge, aside from the mentally ill man, but nothing like they were slapped with. But really FBI should face the biggest charge for entrapment, coercion and conspiracy themselves

I think u are going overboard with the whole "lazy thinking" and I'm not sure why you interpreted my statement as a proclamation that these guys were purely innocent. I also dont believe that what I said is in anyway inaccurate. I'm not diminishing their involvement or their poor decision making by that statement.

What I said was only a summation of how randomly and quickly all of this seemed to happen for a group of people who otherwise would not have even thought to organize such crimes on their own. A terrorist is defined as someone who calculates violence against civilians to further political and/or religious goals. I'd be surprised if any of these guys were even registered to vote. Only one of them was semi active in religion. So yes, one day your a corner hustler and the next you are calculating violence to further political/religious goals. With entrapment and poor decision making, they literally went from one end of the spectrum to and all the way to other and in less than a year? (Not including Cromitie) That's crazy.

Because you made the statement

"one day you're on the street corner, next day you're labelled a terrorist"

You left a lot out there
