That's is the funniest thing I have read all day.
The "Powers" are still in control, just because the puppets on their strings wear progressive masks doesn't change who they take their orders from.

i never said they're not in control. i said they're losing ground, which are two ideas that aren't mutually exclusive. you cynics can believe that warren is just another participant in the charade, but her votes and behavior since taking that seat in the senate belie such claims. i believe she's the real deal, which is why the new republic thinks hillary is in trouble. i agree with them.

I couldn't believe the support Warren got in my state in the last election. People, especially women, blindly follow her every move. I wouldn't discount her chances against Hillary at all. If there is anyone that can compete with Hillary, it is Warren. I personally can't fukking stand her and was shocked at how she won my state but it showed me the kind of support she can rally. fukk her though Scott Brown should've won my state. Warren is an ideal Democrat. Pretends to lobby for the poor and disenfranchised but her track record and previous careers show she was working both sides. :pacspit:
Working for a corporate law firm does not mean one cannot be a liberal. Let's not get carried away. BTW, we need to stop overstating how liberal this country is based on polls that can be manipulated or that are largely inconsistent. Warren barely won in the most liberal state in the country. Let's not be overzealous here.

I happen to be a cynic who buys Warren's progressive boba fides but that doesn't change the fact that if she is as true blue as I think she is then she would have to compromise those principles to get the Dem nomination for President.

Warren barely won because the incumbent Scott Brown was very well liked by both Republicans and Democrats in MA. If it were anyone other than Brown, she would have won in a landslide. Her barely winning speaks more to the fact Scott Brown was one of the most bipartisan people we've had to represent this state in the recent history.

Scott Brown was not bipartisan. His voting record was 95% with the Republican Party. It was all a facade and an image that he played up well. What his candidacy showed is that voters will vote for personality and perception over substance when given the chance.

The blue is how my state voted for hillary in the primaries. If Obama's name is on the ballet she still would have murked him and everyone else.

Warren is > Clinton. But Clinton is a Machine.

If Warren isn't building a MASSive grassroots effort right now then she has no chance... I haven't seen that from her yet. Plus I don't think she's willing to make those demonic deals with wall street and banks either.
