glad they put mst3k back on netflix
cant wait for the new joints

It's not all of it tho. They really need to get this whole show (or at least which eps they can) in one place. Hulu has some. Vimeo has some. Shout factory has more on their own channel. And now Netflix has 20. It's so discombobulated. Pluto tv has a mst3k channel I watch every damn day but that has its limits too

It's crazy how MST3K is pretty much EVERYWHERE now. RiffTrax even sells them on their website. Would be nice if Shout Factory would consolidate and pare down who streams what. Let whoever wants to sell them do that, but I'd like to see Netflix become the home of streamed episodes.

Of course, EVERY episode is out there on YouTube for free (and kudos to Shout/Joel for not going after those fans since it would go against the "keep circulating the tapes" motto) but it would be nice to see them in a bit better quality.

So who else backed the MST3K project? New trailer dropped yesterday on Netflix's YouTube channel, but it's unlisted and I think it's supposed to remain that way (for now) for backers to watch first.

I almost did but it was right around Christmas and I needed to save cash for gifts. I'm mad I didn't tho

I know it's getting rave reviews, but I didn't laugh once at the first episode. Seemed like they were trying too hard or maybe just not really comfortable and in their groove yet. Not really sold on Jonah or the guy doing Servo.

Haven't finished it, but the second episode is a lot better, IMO.

BTW -- last night's RiffTrax Live show (Samurai Cop) was hilarious.

The one thing that I'm getting used to is how fast the jokes come. At least in the first few eps. They're rapid as hell rather than how it used to be of letting the joke breathe before the next one comes. But that seems to sort itself out
