Kinda happen to the Cowboys stadium. They priced out the hardcore fans, the parking prices are crazy ($50+), food and drinks prices are stupid, that big screen interferes with u watching the game, and there is no sense of homefield advantage. Local sports media have talking about this being a problem after year one of its opening. Its very corporate at Cowboys stadium.

For a family of three to attend a Cowboys, you will spend a minimum $350.00. These are nosebleed seats.

Naw, I'm good at home.

They weren't hurt last year when they went 4-4 at home.. Face it, they priced out their core fans

this stadium is :scust:

It looks unfinished, the pillars/the beams just look like they're unfinished. and there's literally NOTHING in the area. My friend took me by there. There's no restaurants, no stores, no nothing nearby. It's literally in the middle of nowhere next to a few small businesses. Just has a weird vibe to it.

Nothing in the area? It shares a parking lot with a theme park. Breh it's in the heart of silicon Valley. Dell, Oracle, Samsung, Cisco, Nvidia, and Yahoo are all within walking distance. Downtown San Jose is within a few miles(10th largest city In the country.) NFL stadiums aren't like arenas and mlb parks where you can put them dead center downtown. Too damn expensive. Considering where a lot of other nfl stadiums are located, Levis aint all that bad
Niners would be trash regardless

if you're a big time franchise in a big time market, you're gonna be corporate at some point. Deal with it. They don't build stadiums for fans. When y'all figure that out, you'll be better off.

Seattle pulled it off

Texas stadium was smaller but the seats were closer to the field which affects crowd noise. The Cowboys basically play the same be it at home or on the road. Damn near all of their games are close. The win and lose the same way so homefield doesn't really impact the team. The stadium does have q country club atmosphere to it though. Too much going on.

You gotta give Jerry jones props though because he has done a great job monetizing the stadium.

yeah I saw all that. But most newer stadiums have attractions around them. Businesses develop nearby to take advantage of the crowd.

To me, and it's just my opinion, it just seemed like a weird spot to build in. Like it pops up on you before you know it. You see Jerry World from a mile away....literally.

AT&T Park is so dope though. :wow:

They are slowly doin it. But they can't just flat out bulldoze all the public housing. The city would get so much shyt if they abruptly left thousands of low income families in the street.
Amazes me SF has projects :wtf:

Figured they would've pushed the poor people out to the 'suburbs' by now.
