Finished watching this. Piff.

I'm glad I didn't watch shyt like Arrow and Flash. I knew TV was capable of a superhero show like this, and I was just patiently waiting.

Can't wait for the 2nd season.

That one-shot hallway fight scene though? :wow:
:russ: I said thought the exact same thing

I would actually suggest that Daredevil has 4 of the top villains in the current MCU. Kingpin, Wesley, Gao and Nobu were all fukking :banderas:

Why do Avengers gotta fight all these jobbers and leave Daredevil the Gs?

Show is piff so far... just finished episode 8 :lupe:

My reactions to the episodes...

The hallway fight at the end of the second episode is :blessed:
The choreography, the way it was all done in a single shot, everything about it was :banderas:

Spoilers for episodes 3-4:

The way that Healy (the assassin) pwned himself at the end of ep 3 with that fence spike... :merchant:

and Fisk crushing Anatoly's head with the car door in the next ep had me like

thetown to global
finally caught up, dope show

daredevil is pretty much portrayed as he is should ... they probably dont have the money to have the radar vision effects but thats not a big deal, the fighting style/early ninja mask and his general demeanor is pretty well done. i didn't like foggy at first but towards the end i warmed up to most of the supporting cast.

i wasnt too sure if i liked kingpin at first but i realized he is still growing into the "kingpin" ...
i'd think his arc in prison and forward will mold him into a more ruthless and cold individual as he no longer plays the savior fantasy out to himself anymore

the cadillac door scene :wow:

matt's fight with the russians and nabu the ninja :wow:

karen page gettin familiar with the iron :whoa:

they set up season 2 really well, if they dont drop the ball shyt should be some next level piff

Finished it last night... the devil finally got his due brehs :blessed:

Might be the most faithful on screen representation of a comic book since Batman TAS :whoo: . Matt Murdock is Charlie Cox now :ld:
People really weren't feeling D'Onofrio? :wtf: I thought he killed it. Fisk in this to me was genghis khan re-incarnated, his whole nature is to take what he wants when he wants by force which is why D'Onofrio played him as nervous and awkward when he's in polite society because it's all he can do to pretend not to be the alpha silverback that he is and start tearing people's heads off... uh, most of the time.

Wesley was a revelation :whew: Bond villain shyt. Foggy.... TBH could have been a lot more annoying.

Wasn't expecting Vanessa to be finer than Karen.

Basically the show should get the emmy for casting.

Fight scenes second only to Banshee IMO. At first I was vexed DD wasn't putting people down quickly enough but that would have been some short fights I guess, plus he's new at the job. I liked how his style paid homage to his kung fu training but also that he was the son of a brawler and can take a lot of punishment.

Overall I can't believe how good this was. I hope this goes to show the returns you can get on taking a serious minded run at a comic property with good writing, directing and acting that doesn't condescend to the source material or the fans.

Not wild about the suit tho :patrice:

Yeah I feel the same way, cats having a problem with how kingpin was displayed when really he was just Wilson Fisk in season 1, son isn't even rocking the white suit/fully morphed Into him yet.

Anyone else notice Fisk had a bit of a George Jefferson walk going on:mjlol::wow:
