O'onofrio had the right height and build and even his interpretation divided opinions.You think a 4'5 dude with short limbs would've been more convincing?

And those divided opinions are mostly from people who have a very simplistic view on the character to begin with. Every complaint I hear is actually a true to the source depiction of the Kingpin's characterization. A ruthless villain with daddy issues who's main weakness is his love for his woman

to be fair their point would be valid his style seemed very "affected" a lot of the time so much so it was distracting.Has nothing to do with characterization there is such a thing as a performance being too nuanced and his was.
And if the fisk they did Is so true to the comics why is it in every article that praises DD (which I am sure is written by comic book fans) talks about d'onofrio bringing something new to kingpin
