Reading that article you can tell it was CLEARLY a smear campaign with little to no credible facts to back it up. Fantano came back with the RECEPITS and had every link in the discription to back it up.
However, knowing how y’all are. You guys already made up your mind about him. The only reason y’all don’t like him is because he gives bad reviews for your favorite artist and he comes off smug on social media when it comes to HIS OWN opinions.

I've said this for years. Music journalism is in the abyss and has been for many years now. This is why Fantano, a guy who clearly didn't grow up around hip hop culture, is dominating hip hop reviews. Because he's the only known person willing to give his honest opinion and it's backed up with some sorta receipts. Radio dudes like Flex, Envy, etc know way more about hip hop than this dude, but do you think they'll give their honest opinion on anything?
The people who know better deliberately cosign trash and lower the bar. The few people like myself who know quite alot, are Black, grew up in hip hop and give their honest opinion get hated on. That's where we're at with this garbage rap shyt.
