Doesn’t the military have a clause where if you make a lot of money or you were to win the lottery you have to get discharged anyway?
Buying out your contract? You can definitely do that, but depending on his draft position, he might be better off just riding out his time as an officer.

I hope it's just the case of they consider him an elite asset as opposed to some other BS. I think dude was the class president, gave the commencement speech, and is in Naval intelligence of some sort.

How good is he?

If im making millions yall just gonna have to give me a general discharge, unless he get arrested or some shyt he wont get a dishonorable. If he like a fringe player and might not make the team then :yeshrug:
Couldn’t they give him a dishonorable discharge for that? You don’t want that shyt on your record.

You could go to jail--military jail--for that.

nope....I'm not sure where that rumor started...And he also isn't making that amount. That out is reserved for people who hit a windfall or huge inheritance. An undrafted football player isn't afforded that opportunity. And he wouldn't be discharged maybe they could place him into the reserves and after his playing time he give the time back to active duty. But as far as him getting out due to money extremely unlikely. Especially a commissioned officer.
