They are basically marketing an equities ETF whose holdings are large cap stocks of companies who allegedly show some commitment to diversity and minority empowerment.

Doesn't sound like a horrible idea to me, honestly.

Hmm if it's tracking large cap then it's corny, it would probably include any company that has a "diversity" program IBM, coke, xerox etc

I dunno. I get the impression some large companies take it a lot more seriously than others. Hopefully the appeal of being included in this fund/index motivates companies to do better.
