Most Mexican immigrants are still impoverished in the US :dwillhuh:
Why do people keep using this anecdotal vague ideas about what other races do to support Black business ideas?
So you think we can get to any of you guys solutions without making sure we mainly circulate the money we have in the US within the black community/companies?

So you're saying we can't do what others have done? I'm just saying if other communities can set up shop so can we. Mexican immigrants are in poverty yet I see Mexican grocery stores and Mexican phone companies even. What's the problem?

I did up til the post I quoted. I don't really want to wean answers from rebuttals in a disagreement, just wanted to know if there were actual steps to economic freedom from white supremacy that could be explained in laymans terms. Not coming at you btw.

For AAs: we need to steer our youth into banking and finance..
For Africans: They need strong monetary police, an emphasis on manufacturing, intra-African trade and investing in the larger diaspora.

There is nothing that can totally destroy White supremacy except White supremacy at this point but we are on track. Just have to have an action plan to give us wiggle room til that time.

I was thinking that maybe we should take advantage of our increasingly globalized economy.

Perhaps start a business where a product can be cheaply made in Jamaica (manufacturing base) and sold to white Americans (consumers) or American-based store fronts (retail). That way you would have some wealth extracted from the US economy and into Jamaica. Reinvest your profits in education, agriculture, infrastructure, etc. This would have to be done yourself and not through government.

The biggest obstacle in Jamaica or any other poor country is its inefficient, corrupt, inadequate central government. Perhaps you could use your newfound money to influence elections and push/endorse the right guy.

You know he was talking about a neighborhood in queens,ny right?

Finance and Accounting aren't too intensive IMO.

A lot less intensive then STEM.

You can start up all the little blackity black businesses you want, but your credit comes from a Jew cracker bank.

And when it's time to contract the money supply, your black ass number is the first to be called and the shylocks either sweep up the collateral or you pay off the loan and they tighten lending and there goes your credit line.

Must admit that what I can't stand about the people in the "black group economic" circle and trust me I use to be apart of that circle, but anyways what I can't stand about people from that circle is that they love to always bring up the minority myth, not realizing that successful minorities here are a result of "selective immigration", especially Asians.

But anyways take this silly ass video for example.

The guy himself in the video looks like a dusty nikka himself and yet he is trying to put down other blacks. But getting to the point, he and other blacks in that circle see that there are no "ma & pa shops" in the black community like there are with Latinos, Asians Indians, etc and be like "SEE! SEE! Blaks dont pratice gROUP economiks like da ASIANS! Blaks r DOOM! Dur dur!"

These people not only don't know basic economics, but also capitalism. Sure, non-black minorities like Asians and Latinos have more "businesses" if you wanna call them that than blacks. But how much are these Asian and Latino businesses taking home? I see more and more blacks going to college and trying to get degrees. Which is more important ma and pa shops or degrees.

Lets just give an example of how capitalism works. And to me its about "exploitation" whether negative or even positive.

For example. I have my own "ma & pa" business which I have employees work under me. I'm exploiting those employees, but I only bring home $5,000 a month.

Second example. I get my bachelors degree and get a good career. I'm an employee and I'm getting exploited, but I bring home $10,000 a month.

Which is better? Me I would take the bachelors route. To me that's capitalism in a nutshell. The guy in the video clearly doesn't get this.

These people in the black group economic circle don't understand that group economics is essential for immigrants because they are new to the country, need to stick together and there are language barriers. I have heard of Dominicans who can't leave Washington Heights because of language barriers and can't find a good job outside there communities. African-Americans on the other hand DO NOT have these problems.

Not only that but sure the money may stay in the community for a while, but it is still linked to the Federal Government. That is unless blacks in America try and separate from the Union and we know what happened when a certain nation tried that.... For that to happen blacks would need to contact these people for assistance.
