Lue is stubborn when it comes to rotations like any other NBA coach. The rotation, really, should be 7 with only Korver and Nance coming off the bench. The team is old and tired, though.

Hood and Clarkson should never see the floor. Same with Green. :hhh:
Green is probably their streakiest shooter out of the main rotation but they’ve had games where he was the only one hitting. Plus he’s their main other agile wing guy and is a relatively adept slasher. He hasn’t consistently shown it thru these offs but I don’t think you can afford to just not use him. Hood seems to have mentally checked out tho and Clarkson doesn’t do shyt off (or on) ball

He *is* good at slashing / cutting to the rim. But he's more often dribbling aimlessly around 17 ft from the basket, shooting contested Js. He's not a good 3pt shooter and will often dribble down to the post for a terrible shot even when he's open from 3. And for every block or good rotation that he has, he has 4 or 5 possessions where he's lost or not playing with urgency.

I agree that the Cavs probably need him. That's just not a great place to be in. If Nance continues his play from Saturday, the Cavs have 7 good rotation players. One of Green, Hood, or Clarkson (or Osman!) has to step up.

If this was anyone other than lebron or the warriors id say yea. But getting to game 7 against these guys is just demoralizing.

They dont want that pressure. Just like the pacers aint want that pressure.
Based on what? The Celtics have been the best team under pressure all season. By a large margin too. If you think they'd be shook in any situation, you just haven't been paying attention to them at all this year. I have not a single doubt that this C's team wins Game 7 if it gets there, which I'm starting to doubt anyway at this point. It's looking more like C's in 5 to me.

After being down 2-0, the Cavs are gonna sweep the next 4 games like the Bulls did to the Knicks in 1993:
