Furthermore what makes it fukked up isn't just the gore but the most fukked up turning point was the betrayal. CascaBerserk. The thing that has methe most about the manga and even makes the violence a back drop is when you learn that the setting guarantees a hellish nightmare for everyone. Not even offing yourself to escape the misery is an option.
