The most underrated Marvel villain--Mr. Sinister appreciation thread

Meh I never liked him that much to be honest.

He has a decent powerset I guess but I never really got a feel for his personality/motives. I mean you know Magneto wants the betterment of mutantkind at any cost, you know Apocalypse is a hardcore believer in survival of the fittest, Doom believes he has a moral imperative to rule the world because it'll be better off under him, etc.


What exactly is Sinister's motivation? Seems like he just likes to sit around kidnapping people and performing unethical experiments on them.


But then again I haven't read all that many comics with him and my opinion is mostly based on animated versions, so it's possible he gets better writing in the comics.

He's a basically. That's his appeal though. He's just there to fukk with people and cause chaos to satisfy his own scientific curiosity. He's a wild card and he's always playing chess...and he's loyal to no one but himself. One of the GOAT comic book a$$holes.

Once you hear dudes origin and motivations you can see why he's so good.

Fox and singer are so fukking stupid. U couldve had a trilogy based on sinister and apoc alone with the 1st being sinister peepin cyke and jean meeting at the school and trying to kidnap them after they fukk on vacation with Xavier sensing his presence. Then forming a team with storm and em etc to save him which sets up him explaining that their kid is the only one to stop apocalypse

Then u could introduce cable and the x force movie with deadpool getting their origins out the way showing baby nate getting dropped off and seeing AOA. Then boom x-men apocalypse could be a 2 parter with x force and x men teaming up in the 2nd flick.

Its way too many character in the x books intro in stand alone films. They dont have to follow marvels exact steps but at least make some prequel cartoons or someone so we dont have filler scenes
