The game is completely different on the highest difficulty. Not just,enemies are now bullet sponges.
The game truly becomes about survival and everything,including ellie becomes important.
The vast majority of people completed the game on easy,you can check the stats.

No there were other critisicms made in this thread. That was just the sticking point. And when you say "greatest games ever made" your talking about MGS FF7 Mario; etc, etc. this game does not stand with those.
Well, you can argue all day but TLOU has the most GOTY awards ever and you used that same metric when talking about The Witcher 3 so don't even go "smh reviewers are stans too."

Yes it does. The story was top notch, great character development, great gameplay mechanics, solid online, etc.

But they didn't. You only want them to have said that because perfect = flawless is easier to dispute than perfect = complete.
To me, TLOU is one of those games you'd show to non-gamers who wouldn't put video games on equal footing artistically as tv & film. That's not to say it is without flaws, but it is one of the best examples of the media.
