Speaking of which... anyone know what is the deal with that Mortal Kombat project that started a few years back? The one with M.J. White as Jax among all the other stars?

The first one was dope despite it actually being a terrible movie now that you go back and watch it. Only reason it was really dope was Jhonny Cage and Scorpion/Reptile/Sub Zero.
The masks meant the could get actual Kung fu fighters instead of trying to get actors without any actual fighting skills (Sonya).
The second one was just embarrassing...
With that said, they need a reboot. Someone like Zac Snyder directing the reboot would be

Even as a kid, I knew that film was shytty.That first movie though was awesome to a nine year old me - especially when Reptile popped out of nowhere like in the videogame.
Yeah that was some straight-to-syfy channel shyt but it was good enough to make theaters back thenWord? As a kid I appreciated all the characters they threw in but I knew it was flat. And that struggle cgi didn't help. Animality
