Not a fan of either fighter but not sure how people are saying Connor got his ass beat and would have lost the fight anyways. Poierer got a few good kicks in on the ground, but it didn’t seem like it was affecting Connor much, he as soon as they got up he went right back to attack.

That round was over with like 10 seconds left before we went to step back and had his fukkign ankle bend sideways.

Seen enough MMA to know that I had zero idea how that fight was gonna turn out in round 2.

I don't think he really had to hype himself up, I think he just hasn't been the same since he lost to Khabib. That loss basically changed who he was as a fighter.

Agreed. Poirier clearly won the first round but it was Conor's own fault he ended up on his back. Conor would've likely kept it on the feet for the second round and had a shot still. People let hate get away of their commentary.

What would you call raining down elbows for most of the round from guard? Is that not dominating? Conor shot in for a takedown because Dustin hurt him standing.
