U notice how Conor has the trump effect in where whatever he does his stans will spin it into some kind of positive?

For example him losing and having his leg broken u have his fans spinning it into him cutting a promo.

As for me I see it as him having a melt down.

This fight was looking to me just like the Shawn Mendes fight, which he ended up knocking him out in the 2nd after getting taken to the ground like 4 times and getting elbowed into oblivion worse than what Piorer was giving him.

It’s the main reason I was pissed his leg broke. That 2nd round would have been great to see if McGregor still had that resilience or if it was truly gone.
Indeed. This shyt was no Chael Sonnen troll fest. He was completely shook to the point of not having control of himself.

I'd pay good money to watch someone KO Shawn Mendes :lolbron:

Seriously though, Chad took the fight on 11 days notice. He was not in fighting shape. Conor was also nowhere near as effective with the kicks versus Dustin. He kept that front kick in Mendes' stomach which caused him to gas even faster.

Good catch lmao.

My point was more that it was basically looking like it was going to be the same fight, which was thoroughly entertaining, hence why I was hoping for no leg break and a round 2.

I remember watching that fight and thinking Connor was gonna get knocked out any second when Mendez had him on the ground with those elbows. He impressed me with he kept getting up and kept swinging until he won, no stanning.

:mjlol:You're really drawing on a fight from 6 years ago against a midget on like a week notice to try to act like Conor had a chance? Conor has NEVER come back from a deficit in a fight since then. If dude doesn't get lucky early, he's getting his ass kicked just about every time. Even in the second Nate fight, he was on his way to losing the fight had it gone a round or two longer. By the end he was straight up running away from Nate and he ended the fight on his back with Nate in a dominant position.

You don't even mention the fact that Conor was losing on the feet to Poirier. The fight only went to the ground because of Conor's desperate clinch after getting his shyt rocked. He was losing every facet of that fight and it probably could have been stopped even before the doctor stoppage.
