Breh, if they wanted to, why haven't they done that in Cali?

Look at the UC schools ever since getting rid of Affirmative Action in 1998:

You can see the admission rates by race each year. Start in 1999 and check each year.

Note how the Asian:White acceptance ratio was 30:40 in favor of White folks. Now it's completely the other way around right around 2010 and the gap has only widened.

Same when you check out elite Universities like Caltech and Stanford.
Are we talking about Foreign Asian students or Asian americans?

And are we talking about CA schools or all schools in the country?

Mainly Cali because they did away with Affirmative Action back in the 90's and the biggest population of Asians by far is Cali.

However, country-wide Asians have only benefitted from states that have taken got rid of Affirmative Action.

You can check some of the stats here in this link:
State affirmative action bans helped White, Asian students, hurt others

States with significant Asian populations especially show a big lead as you're not going to see many Asians apply to the University of Nebraska.

Asians played themselves. By the way, don't be surprised if it comes out that MIT used discriminatory tactics to get Black student admissions down.

can't argue with numbers but they showed that that the non tech based Ivies showed a fall in Asian acceptance rates.

Yeah, for the most part they’ll aim at STEM-based schools and programs.

It’s part of the reason why you see them on average have higher salaries: they’ve always known which fields to target and usually it’ll be the sciences and engineering. Not even only East Asians, but I read somewhere most Filipinos target Electrical Engineering at the same rate as they do nursing. One of the most famous/innovative EE's is Filipino so I don't know if that's a strict follow the money type of thing or a cultural thing to go into the major. However, you can count on most Asians chasing the big-paying STEM fields.
