We tried that model minority playbook back in the day with Booker T Washington with the laws passed against us and racist tactics to keep us from accumulating assets...didn't work very well so we had to get it out the mud. Now with the ground we've made asians can run the model minority strategy effectively especially with the lack 400 years of discriminatory history and stereotypes they'd have to fight against.
