The Mission Impossible Series needs to be rebooted or be over alltogether.

Cruise is fukking up on this one. If they did it right he could expand the universe and build up some proper villains

I need someone to do a John Wick based show so we can get an expansion on how the continental works.
Aren't they making a show about the continental? And a female spinoff?

I would’ve watched it though. I think 5 years after dead reckoning 1 and 2 end they’ll do it

I'd watch it too if it ever happened :lolbron:but I kind of like the idea of some things strictly being for the big screen, MI is one of those franchises that still give me that thrill of going to the movies, maybe due to the nostalgia factor. Don't get me wrong I'm a HUGE fan of good series, but I think it's two different environments that don't necessarily need to meet.

Each movie better than the last the last decade. Foh
The movies keep getting doper though. The series actually has gotten way better after the first 3 movies

If Tom Cruise wants to keep being the American Jackie Chan I'm not gonna argue.
which is wild when you think about it, critically and commercially it's a great series for what it is, James Bond doesn't even hold a candle to it.

Not everything needs to be a series.
No doubt. If MI was made into a tv show it would wear thin quickly. A huge part of the MI appeal is that we only get a movie every few years.

In general I think Tom Cruise did a good job of realizing what people like and appreciate about him, and he basically only does passion projects at this point. He stays out of the spotlight unless it's MI or Top Gun or something like that.

MI is definitely not an IP that people really care about outside of Tom Cruise. If there was a show without him in it, I can't see many people caring for long.
