You throw in JJJ and a healthy Bane and then the rest of the role players they have, maybe they make a small trade and they are back in business. Until JJJ learns to stop fouling & rebound they aren’t doing anything.

He similar to KAT, If you this far in your career doing the same stuff you probably have hit your peak.

They need to fill the hole Adams left. IDK how, but you need to work that pick to acquire Adams replacement.
I think they should go for Allen. They’re a win-now team and he seems like a perfect fit. Not only is he one of the best centers in the league but he provides a lot of the smaller strengths Adams provided, like screen handoffs and offensive boards.

They regressed hard in 2022-23 after he went down and had so much going on this season that you couldn’t even really evaluate them

But in theory getting Ja & Clarke back to go along with Bane, JJJ, Smart, GG they should be back in the mix in the West

They're gonna have to prove it, Minny took what was supposed to be theirs. They haven't even made a conference finals appearance yet, and I'd have a handful of teams I'd take over them. Both LA teams, DAL, MIN, DEN, OKC, and we'll see how PHX plays out but I'd trust them all before Memphis, they're gonna have to prove they can do it. They had a good regular season a couple years ago but if you know the NBA you know the reg season doesn't mean shyt and you have to prove it in the playoffs, or you'll be a paper tiger that vet teams look to take out as an easy picking.

They need to find a replacement for Adams and their big 3 needs to stay healthy and with Ja he just needs to worry about bball.

Still with that they look like 6 seed at best next year to me.

I agree. The Grizzlies do have the defense, but they might have to add more shooting on the roster

Honestly the bigger question is if Memphis' veteran leadership of Marcus Smart, Derrick Rose, Brandon Clarke, and Luke Kenard can help prevent Ja Morant from having a hyper-active right shoulder
