I'm legit watching The matrix on Netflix right now

The craziest thing about the whole Matrix scenario is whoever controls the present can rewrite the past to whatever they say happened so most wouldn't even realize they'd been taken over as they live out their lives within the construct.

*picks up history book*

*reads about dinosaurs living millions of years ago, society being a recent invention and nothing in between even though man has obviously been around for eons*

The most important scene in the entire movie and franchise, that doesn't get talked about.

They literally tell us, the audience, that we're living in the matrix.

Cypher : "I want to be someone important, like an actor."

Audience : "Funny, he IS an actor in real life."

The whole scene is constructed to beg the question, is this real life? He could have said athlete, politician, musician.

That was the glitch in our matrix. I only caught this like last year.

We're already in a simulation. Wonder why we have deja vu experiences?

Because time may not work like we think it does,

I've dreamt of being in random ass places and 6 months later I'm in a new state/city on the other side of the country and somehow end up in the exact spot I was in the dream around people I had never seen prior to that moment. Actually documented when it happened.





That doesn't necessarily mean simulation, could mean we're in a loop, could mean our unconscious brains can do more than we realize, etc.
