Nah, I didn't like it at all, thought Get Rich was much better. This is where 50 fell of to me music wise.

The thing that amazes me is how pll think massacre is even good let alone on par with 50 best work, because in that era, especially Ny, when that shyt released everyone knew it was mediocre, 11 years later, 16 year olds on the internet claiming its a classic, LOL.

way grimier then 'Get Rich', and 50's best work, closet to a classic….Besides the singles, it's a street album, and 50 was spitting the rawest he ever has...

some of the beats on that album murder anything on GRODT

but there's also some BS ja rule type popcorn songs that bring the album down

but i think the highs on it are higher than GRODT

lol I BOUGHT 'Power Of The Dollar' in 99/2000, when the EP dropped…..'The Massacre' was grimier, 50 was just broke on 'Power…'

'In My Hood'
'This is 50'
'I'm Supposed To Die Tonight'
'Ski Mask Way'
'A Baltimore Love Thing'
'Get In My Car'
'Ryder Muzik
'Gunz Come Out'
'Position of Power'
'Hate It Or Love It'
'My Toy Soldier'

thats not fukking with 'Get Rich', with it's formulaic cookie cutter Aftermath beats, and maybe 4 raw tracks? The bars on those tracks are nihilistic, ruthless streets shyt, 50 was feeling invincible right about that time, and the music shows that.
