First game is the dopest as far as the story/world goes. One of the best in gaming history, IMO.

2 is the best game over all. It's, no joke, GOAT tier. Especially towards the end of the game. You'll see. :wow:

3rd game is the best as far as the actual game play. They finally perfected that aspect in the 3rd.

However, the writing falls off a cliff towards the end of the 3rd game. I won't say how or anything else, don't want to affect your experience. But I'd like to get your opinion after you beat all 3 games.

Gonna spoiler tag it because @surf probably wants to go in as blind as possible but the "Mass Effect 2" trailer they ran during football season that year is the GOAT game trailer.

Jealous of those who never played this. Nothing like experiencing it for the first time. No game has been able to top the feeling that ME2's opening and ending gave me. Goosebumps. And that soundtrack... :wow:

No "first" was bigger than the intial conversation w/ Sovereign, though. shyt had me :merchant: :dahell: :mindblown: :lupe: I rented ME1 & ws expecting an action RPG-esque shooter. It turned into a space opera epic really fast. I was not expecting that twist at all. Reminded me of watching Big Trouble in Little China for the first time. You think it's about petty chinese criminals & the heroes thwarting a kidnapping with a little martial arts thrown in. Then Lord Raiden descends from the heavens & the main villain turns out to be an undead ghoul that can't find peace until he gets a nut. :dead:

Yeah Sovereign was talking cash shyt. Talking to/about the whole human race on some :hhh: shyt.

That interaction is a GOAT level moment in gaming.
