i don't think the end game is to reunite baby yoda with the jedi, it's to reunite him with his own species.
anyway i think the ultimate end of the story will have something to do with a battle on/for Mandalore
but i thought this was another big episode. no idea why anyone would think it's filler or something.

they intentionally ruined season 8 cause .01% of their viewers (the people who come up with theories online) predicted where they were going lmao, how can you defend that
You can tell by the episode titles and who the director is whether or not it will feel like filler.
Byrce Dallas howard and Dave Filoni seem to move the story along. Other guest directors provide filler.
Next episode is directed by Filoni and is called "The Jedi". So i think that will be want we're waiting for.
