He definitely put in some work & nearly lost his life & that's a credit to him. Black Americans really put themselves on the line back in the day to try to try to level the playing field for us & I'm grateful to them. But he didn't do himself any favors (and probably tarnished his legacy some) in divorcing his Black wife & marrying a South African white woman. His son even changed his last name in disgust to not even be associated with him. That's pretty damn deep
