k rino stan should'nt be talking about sounding bad
You just posted a video of Lupe butchering one of the hardest (non-memphis) beats of the 2000's and tryed to pass that shyt off as if it was hot
And you expect anybody to respect your opinions on hip-hop?
If your ears couldn't tell you instantly that them bars was straight up :doodoo::doodoo::doodoo: after that 1st verse...you clearly don't know a goddamn thing about rap.
If that clown ass nikka can't even properly ride a beat like that...he's worthless.![]()
nikkas really comparing a classic club banger with a word that's used in every region and still played today in the clubs to a mike jones, paul wall, and slim thug songClassics are songs that hold up due to replay value. How is that flawed?
You wouldn't compare "Tipsy" to "Represent" because they're completely different types of songs made in different eras. Tipsy was for the club in 2005 or whenever it came out, Represent was for the streets in 94.
Still Tippin was for the clubs in 2004. yet we don't hear that sh*t. But we hear Tipsy, which was for the clubs.
At the stage, I gotta ask: what makes Still Tippin classic? Because you're just wasting your time mentally gymnasting all the ways to disagree with me. You keep saying "bu bu you're wrong" and I'm yet to hear your explanations for why it's still a song that matters in 2015 on any level.
You're arguing for Still Tippin, yet I bet you barely (if ever) play that song on your own volition
How did this beef start ya go at it in every threadYou're trolling as usual, but I'll entertain your b!tch ass cause I got some free time. You claim you were in Houston for 2 weeks () and you heard every classic down south club record played there during your visit (
) except Still Tippin so that made you come to the conclusion that Still Tippin = Not classic. What type of retard logic is that? So let's say I have a friend from London come visit me for 2 weeks and during her stay she didn't hear CREAM played on the streets that whole time or DMX's Up In Here in the clubs the whole time. Does that mean those songs aren't classic?
Coli, this n!gga is an obvious clown troll. Why do y'all continue to encourage him?
Still Tippin, besides the fact that it has a dope ass beat and dope rap performances, put a whole region on the National map and catapulted the careers of 3 Gold and Platinum artists of that generation. It's a clear classic.
I don't mind getting blocked by the krino street team alias armyI've NEVER posted that track as an example of elite MC'ing...cus it ain't...it's a brilliantly written abstract-concept song tho...way outta your depth
You on the other hand...tryed to pass off Lupe butchering a classic...as something other than straight up :doodoo::doodoo::doodoo: and even tryed to pretend it was better than said classic.
I, and nobody else on the board can no longer take you serious in a hip-hop discussion.
Most of the board of the board is putting you on ignore right now.![]()

Purple swag was pretty much an homage to still tippin

I thought Mike Jones' verse was a lil weakerMike watts wasn't lying when he said it was one of the rare songs where all 3 came strong with there verses. The beat![]()
Good question. I'm not sure when Ocean turned nuthugger but it was fairly early. I think he reacted violently to my "lyricism killed hip hop" thread, which was my first.
But what put it over the edge was when I told him FILA (thatRae album) would be trash. When Rae released that single with Estelle, I dissed it. Saying that Rae looked
rapping about still being in the club with bottles and chicks. And Homotion caught feelings.
Since then he's threatened all kinds of fades but never followed through
More Mallard tales by this clown. I started that FILA thread. I called Rae out from THE START for coming out with that bullsh!t. And that wack ass trolling Lyricism thread is not even on my radar. It's just another example of you trolling for attention like the love starved female you are. I started calling you out from the first week you became a poster. You're transparent.
Finally
I like that Estelle joint.
Yea, nice Summertime cruisin vibe to it:
In other words: "generic shyt"
Dude's too old to be releasing music like this.
Dude, you stay jaded. The sh!t got a nice, grown man vibe to it. Why is he too old to be putting out a song like that? Name one thing about that song that a MC at Rae's status and age should be ashamed of? Is it pop? Is their any pandering to a younger audience? I don't get what you're saying.
