I've said it once and i'll say it again. Most of you just shouldn't watch the NBA. This postseason has been fantastic and the ratings support that. The complaining is tiresome
I am not complaining about the game or the ratings. I'm talking about the shallow, clearly biased coverage of these games and the players. On ESPN, Bleacher Report and other media outlets.

I'm talking about the NBA dialogue in The Coliseum, Twitter, everywhere online. Most of it is regressive, negative, and a waste of time

The main problem is that the modern NBA fan doesn't like the NBA. Chatter amongst the young fanbase is that the NBA season is too long (to care, to pay attention to, to matter). In order to capture their attention you have to market it in a way they are accustomed to - which is just the stories. In turn, they mimic the media driven narrative that is created for them to talk about (the media driven narrative).

I never thought I'd see the day when the "fans' of the sport want less of it, but here we are.

NBA has the most wishy-washy fanbase.
NFL and MLB fans actually love their teams, they will watch whatever game is on.
NBA fans be "Who Playing?" before they want to watch anything.
